RWA:
X-Ray Probe
Another important
application of the RWA is as a compact x-ray source
for various imaging and spectroscopy applications.
One of the key applications of this machine is as a
part of a gamma-ray spectrometry system for
applications in the oil and gas industry. For this
application the RWA should produce an electron beam
with an energy of 1 MeV. The device to be developed
will be the basis of a new generation of very
compact electron beam accelerators to be used for
downhole geophysical surveying.
