PULSE ANALYZER

The PA-3110 Pulse Analyzer is designed with COTS products and commercial software to precisely measure all radar emitter parameters, such as frequency, pulse width, pulse amplitude, time of arrival, as well as derived parameters including Pulse Repetition Interval (PRI) and scan pattern behavior and characterization. These pulse analyzers include a simple and interactive user interface to provide robust target visualization and identification capabilities in defense emitter environments. Text Box:  

 

ESM/ELINT SYSTEMS

The ESM/ELINT systems developed by MTI are used for radar signal intercept, analysis and direction finding. Our systems are based on the PA-3110 line of analyzers and offer coverage in the frequency range from 2 to 18 GHz with the capability of extending it as low as 0.5 GHz and as high as 40 GHz.  For this purpose MTI offers a one-mast antenna solution with an outstanding sensitivity and bearing accuracy. Depending on the application, our ESM/ELINT systems can be paired with the MS-0518 mechanically scanned antenna system (which includes an Omni antenna) or the ESA-3120 electronically scanned antennas. 

Our systems are modular and Ethernet-based which allows them to be easily networked with other sensor systems. 

MTI offers the following families of ESM/ELINT systems:

  • The VIGILANT systems for naval applications.

  • The CONDOR systems for airborne applications.

  • The TIBURON systems for submarine vessels.

  • The PUMA system for ground applications.

 

VIGILANT SYSTEMS

 

The VIGILANT family of naval ESM systems is a compact, rugged, high-performance ship ESM system covering the 2 to 18 GHz frequency range. It can be implemented in different configurations to provide:

  • A very high percentage probability of intercept by using an IFM receiver and omni antenna.
  • High degree DF accuracy using six-sided arrays for DOA of detected pulses.
  • Automatic detection, identification, and tracking of radar emitters.
  • Self protection function, with the capability to drive automatically active ECM equipment (jammers) or passive ECM equipment (chaff and flares) and to tip onboard combat systems for self protection.

 

ESM/ELINT SYSTEMS UPGRADE PROGRAM

Our products can also be retrofitted into older systems.  MTI realizes that many of our customers are unable to procure high-cost new systems, and furthermore, may not need all the “bells and whistles” which are typically included in new state-of-the-art systems.  Therefore, we offer customers the opportunity to customize product features, which allows older systems to be repaired, maintained and upgraded at a significantly reduced cost.  We can customize your design to match both your strategic requirements and your budget.  Affordable systems are produced by using commercial off-the-shelf components and system topologies that best fit your requirements.
